A user on Reddit wrote they knew a man who held one religious ceremony in his house every year so that it could be considered a place of worship and he didn't have to pay taxes.

Another Reddit user, who worked for the luggage claim department, wrote that they borrowed a wheelchair to rest. However, usually, angry customers saw a man in a wheelchair, and all of a sudden, they turned into the nicest people. "Physically my blood pressure has dropped, and in general, I'm in a pretty good mood most of the time."
Free rides and a happy meal
Among the best ways to cheat the system, one person wrote: "At my university, I would always order delivery from a late-night eatery and get a ride home with the delivery guy." They added it was less expensive than taking a cab, and there was also food as a bonus.

A former user of a posh gym explained how he got to use it for free for three years. This was an accidental discovery on his part after he kept forgetting his ID. Meal plan hack
A poster shared that while in college, he had a meal plan where the school essentially took his "actual money" and turned it into "campus dollars." At the end of the semester, he had hundreds of dollars, so he went to the nicest campus restaurant and made a deal with the waiter. He gave him a "monster tip, and the waiter returned a half in "actual money."

Cheating the college system
This Reddit user shared how they solved their parking issues. They wrote, "One day, I was forced to park in the resident parking and got a ticket." They kept the ticket. Then, they slipped it under the windshield wiper, so no one knew it was the old ticket.

How to save $2 on electricity bill each year
One person shared: "I bring all my rechargeable items (shaver, cell phone, laptop, etc.) to work and plug them in there. They added they must have saved at least $1-$2 in a year in electricity.

Reddit user confessed he has been canceling and switching the name on the cable bill between him and his wife to get new customer rates for ten years.
The wrong Thomas
A guy named Thomas and his wife were at an upscale restaurant in NYC. There were no free tables, so the Reddit's Thomas and his wife decided to wait. Another man showed up and handed $200 to the "reservation guys." Then Reddit's Thomas heard, "Table for 2 for Thomas." He and his wife sat down and ordered food, so it was too late once everyone knew they had served the wrong Thomas. The right one was the man who paid $200.

Free food
This Reddit user wrote that several years ago, there was a promotion at Wendy's. All you had to do was fill out the survey on your receipt to get a free burger. Initially, they did not notice you could take the survey on the receipt of the free burger to get more free ones. The Reddit user and their friends ate free burgers for days.
Cheating the health tracker
At the University, a Reddit user wrote that people were encouraged to use a particular app and walk more, so they would get rewards. The poster's friend changed their height to 1cm, hence cheating the system and getting free coffees, mugs, discounts, and several university hoodies, which cost £30.
