The internet is abuzz with a recent video of a woman asking a bear to close her front door, and the bear actually doing so, leading many to question whether this woman is a real-life Disney princess.
While bears are typically considered dangerous and prone to attacking humans, this viral video has shown that anything is possible, even taming a wild beast.
With over 13 million views and counting, a viral TikTok video by Susan Kehoe (@1susankehoe1) shows a bear outside her home in freezing weather and captures the unbelievable moment when a bear closes her front after she politely requests him to do so.
Susan starts the video by sharing with viewers know that it's snowing cats and dogs outside, with the added surprise of bears falling alongside the snowflakes.
She then takes them on a quick tour of her winter wonderland and, while opening her front door, comes face-to-face with an unexpected guest – Mr. Bear himself. Talk about a cold welcome.
“We not only have snow, we have a bear,” Susan says.
Instead of panicking like most people would and slamming the door shut to avoid becoming Mr. Bear's next meal, Susan takes a different approach, sympathizing with the shaggy beast and realizing just how burdened he must be with all that snow on his back.
Mr. Bear may be a wild animal, but he's surprisingly polite in the face of human company.
As he attempts to walk away and avoid causing any discomfort, Susan can't help but feel a sense of admiration for his considerate behavior, addressing him affectionately as "hon."
With a friendly tone, she asks him to do her a favor before he goes, hoping that he'll be willing to lend a hand (or a mouth, to be more precise.)
“Before you go, you have to do me a favor,” she tells Mr. Bear, “Come here, close the door for me, and then you could go.”
It's almost as if Mr. Bear understands every word Susan says. He immediately complies with her polite request, slipping easily into his canine persona and using his sharp teeth to close the door.
“What a good boy,” she praises Mr. Bear, “I love you.”

Viewers couldn't help but shower Mr. Bear with compliments and virtual hugs
Mr. Bear's visit with Susan has been the talk of the internet, with viewers praising him for his adorable and polite behavior. Some couldn’t help but express their desire to give him a “big bear hug,” like one commenter who joked about their "toxic trait."
“I’d invite the bear in just Incase it’s cold,” a second person wrote.
“If you’re cold, they’re cold, bring them inside,” a third suggested.
“I am definitely the one that ends up dead on the news because I would NOT be able to resist boopin’ that snoot,” a fourth commented.
“I can't get my dog to sit, she gets a bear to come, close the door and all while keeping chilled out,” a fifth jealous commenter shared.
“Ma’am, are you a Disney princess or something?” a sixth wondered.
While encountering a bear outside your home may seem like a nightmare scenario to some, Susan saw it as an opportunity to connect with nature in a unique way.
Her video is definitely a testament to the power of charisma and kindness in calming even the wildest beasts. But, for safety's sake, don't attempt to replicate her bravery.
