A college student from Texas had had enough of an anonymous neighbor who keeps stealing their food deliveries. He took matters into their own hands and got creative with their revenge.
The video, with over 1.6 million views as of Friday, begins with Ethan Pham (@ethanphamtastic) saying, “So, someone in my dorm has been stealing my food deliveries. And I wanna find out who it is, but I also wanna get revenge.”
His clever plan for revenge is nearly guaranteed to succeed. To start, he fills a Chipotle bag with a fake Chipotle bowl full of vegetables. Then, he throws in a photo with a caption reading, “Caught you in 4K.”
Ethan couldn't contain his laughter and excitement as he set up the trap for his neighbor, saying, “I’m so excited.”
He also went above and beyond, getting a fork and napkins from Chipotle to make everything seem realistic. “tastes like revenge,” Ethan says.
The college student goes on and shows the spot where food deliveries are left at his university and then leaves the fake Chipotle order there for his victim to fall for.
He also points out that food deliveries get stolen at the university because the delivery drivers just leave them on a rack.
“The bait has been placed,” Ethan says after he dropped off the bag. “I’m going to come down later today and see if they took it.”

In a follow-up video, Ethan says that the Chipotle bag was stolen within the first couple of hours. Despite not catching the culprit, he decided to tweak the prank and give it another shot.
“A lot of y’all said that vegetables were too nice and suggested putting trash in the bag instead, so let’s try it,” he explains.
His plan is to trick the culprit into thinking that the food delivery is a “fresh bag of Chick-fil-A,” when in reality it's a bag of trash in disguise.
In order to keep with the meme trend, Ethan also includes a photo in the food bag with the caption: “When someone steals your trash.”
Ethan also answers viewers who asked him how he’s going to catch the person, but he admits that the plan is "still in the works."
“Honestly, right now, I’m probably not going to know who’s stealing the food,” he explains. “I just want to troll them a little bit just so they can stop stealing people’s food, you know?”

The two videos generated many comments from viewers, with some of them suggesting other ideas to catch the culprit.
Viewers tapped into their creative side to come up with additional creative plans for Ethan to capture the neighbor, with some ideas being less humane.
“Why not just buy an Apple AirTag and put it in the bag and track where it goes?” one user suggested.
“No, put a glitter bomb,” a second wrote.
“USE LAXATIVES!!!!!” a third commented.
“put some reapers in your food but make sure it's hidden, you'll know who steals it if they scream,” a fourth wrote.
“Just chill in the lobby for a few hours and see who takes it,” a fifth advised.
Some people weren't in favor of Ethan setting multiple traps for the neighbor as they feared that the person may discover Ethan's plan for revenge and stop stealing before they get exposed.
“babe if you keep putting bait theyre just gonna stop stealing before you get your plan in motion,” they wrote. To which Ethan replied: “plan will be put in action soon. “
So far, Ethan's plan has been proceeding smoothly and he hasn't caught the thief who's been stealing his food yet. But in the future updates that everyone's eagerly awaiting, it's hoped that he'll reveal the identity of the anonymous person everyone wants to see caught on TikTok.
