A woman has recently revealed her secret question that she always asks guys she reaches out to on Bumble (dating app). According to her, this question helps her sift through the normal ones and find the ones that will match her energy.
“I did not know that Bumble is a dating app where the girls have to reach out to the guys,” she says, “so I started matching with people and I realized like, it's my job to talk to them.”
She mentions that she’s not a fan of small talk with guys like asking if that's his cat in the profile picture. Her approach to engaging with them is quite unconventional, but it usually elicits interesting responses that reveal a lot about their personality.
“The first thing I ask to every single guy I match with is what is a conspiracy theory or a hot take you 100% believe in?”
“Because that's gonna tell me everything I need to know,” she explains, “do you have a belief system? that is uncommon amongst the masses? And you are able to uphold in the face of adversity? can you make a joke?”
She received adverse reactions from many men, such as one who responded with "I think we should be able to drink beer in public," which she didn't even know was illegal.
And when the same guy asked for her hot take, this was her response:
“I think we should be able to unlock certain crimes as we get older. Because if I'm 80 years old and I can steal a diamond necklace and you don't, find out till later, I earn that.”
As noted by OP, the guy did not respond.

She shares that she was attracted to a guy who once provided her with a "genius" response to her conspiracy theory question: “PETA is run by the meat industry.”
As it turned out, this guy was not even operating at his full potential, who tried to brag when she complimented his response, “If I hadn't hit my head so many times when I was a kid, I would be a world leader by now.”
She firmly believes that questions like this are much more effective than the typical small talk if you're looking for someone who is truly intriguing.

“People who don't have a conspiracy theory in the back pocket waiting for somebody to ask them about it or about as interesting to me as warm coleslaw,” she admits, “my apologies.”
Whether or not you believe that this is a good question to ask a guy on a dating app, one can only imagine that this woman has an extensive catalog of conspiracy theories at her disposal. It will certainly be interesting to see if she reveals any of these theories she collected in the future.
