Lauren Boebert says LGBTQ people are degenerates" calls for The North Face boycott

Boebert called out the popular street brand The North Face and tweeted that "America is not a nation of degenerates" after their Pride collection was announced.

Boebert's claims come at the right time

The lawmaker's tweet came a day after recordings of her son dialing 911 twice in December were made public. The boy cried, saying Jayson Boebert, his father, was "throwing me around," but Lauren Boebert said nothing happened.

The North Face's Summer of Pride collection

"Summer of Pride" ad features drag queen Pattie Gonia, which enraged many, though not as much as Boebert's tweet, according to replies she received.

The lawmaker, born in Florida, tweeted, "Well, I guess North Face wanted to get a taste of what conservatives did to Bud Light and Target." She then wondered, "How many times do we have to explain to the woke marketing departments at these disgusting companies that America is not a nation of degenerates?"

The lawmaker was not done

The pro-gun lawmaker continued, "It's time to boycott ANY product North Face has ever made." Adding, "Let's make it as shameful to wear North Face as it is to drink Bud Light!"

Apart from top comments calling out Donald Trump, another person wrote, "Yet they will all still be in business regardless of you and the MAGA crybaby antics. Intolerant right strikes again with cancel culture."

People went after Boebert

Someone said, "It must be exhausting to hunt perpetually for the next outrage. You’re already shameful without wearing North Face or drinking Bud Light!"

Some went after her soon-to-be ex

One person stated, "Your husband whipped out his pe.is to underage girls. He also physically abused your son, and you covered for him." Boebert's soon-to-be ex-husband spent four days in jail over an alleged lewd act, which Boebert denied despite official records.

Someone shared, "Love North Face…Hate Bobert. I can't wait until you are voted out. Annoyance at the greatest." The Colorado lawmaker was mocked by a person who tweeted, "I very highly doubt that most of your base was buying, or wearing North Face anyway," and added a series of laughing emojis.

The same person wrote, "Take a seat talking about "degenerates" you vile, sanctimonious, fake Christian hypocrite & alleged adulterer who allegedly had s.x with [toes curl] Ted Cruz." Another added, "Are you no longer faux upset about 'cancel culture?'"

Some commented on the 911 calls

A Twitter poster shared, "Shouldn’t you be worried about your husband beating your child." Another person added, "Your kid had to call 911..maybe pay attention to your kids because you are nothing in Congress. If you are indicted…Your husband is their caretaker."

The Georgia lawmaker commented, “Big name brands sexually targeting children makes me want to buy all generic brand clothing now. She added, "Besides.. we can save a fortune, NOT wasting money on labels that are grooming our children.”

Another Republican, Kentucky representative Josh Calloway said, “LGBTQI+ community is a disease.” He posted on Twitter, "The fact is that LGBTQIA+ and gender ideology is spreading on social media as a social contagion and targeting confused children."
