Former president Donald Trump is one of the most polarizing politicians in modern history. For his supporters, everything that Trump said or did was pure gold. For others, his actions were despicable. Both sides can agree that the 45. POTUS was and continues to be hilarious, willingly or not.

Hurricane is wet

Standing in front of the White House, Trump praised people who helped during hurricane Florence. He also explained it was a "tough" hurricane and "one of the wettest we've ever seen, from the standpoint of water."

While visiting the Economic Club of New York in September 2016, Trump stated, "It used to be cars were made in Flint, and you couldn't drink the water in Mexico. Now cars are made in Mexico, and you can't drink the water in Flint."

Trump's love for social media is not a secret. In 2015, he said, "I have this thing called Twitter and Facebook, which is amazing, actually. It's like owning The New York Times without the losses." He was banned by both platforms six years later.

Easy D

Another confusion came in the form of "easy D." The former President tweeted, "Big increase in traffic into our country from certain areas, while our people are far more vulnerable, as we wait for what should be EASY D!" And though many believe it was "easy decision" no one ever used easy d before.
Trump vs. Soup

A video showed Trump talking about the protestors throwing soup at the police in 2020. He said the soup was "better than brick because you can't throw a brick, it's too heavy. But a can of soup, you can really put some power into that, right?"
Winning the presidential debate

The tragedy in France, in Charlie Hebdo headquarters, shook the world. Trump, always the businessman, tweeted, "If the morons who killed all of those people at Charlie Hebdo would have just waited, the magazine would have folded – no money, no success!"

In 2012, Trump expressed how he felt about conflicts in the Middle East, tweeting, "We should have gotten more of the oil in Syria, and we should have gotten more of the oil in Iraq. Dumb leaders."

Hurricane Florence left many people devastated. Trump went to visit the survivors and spotted a yacht. He asked a man standing near if that was his yacht. The man replied, "no," but the then-President wanted to comfort the man, so he told him, "At least you got a nice boat out of the deal."

In May 2020, Trump tested positive. Or did he? Talking to the press, Trump said he "tested very positively in another sense." He continued, "I tested positively toward negative. So. I tested perfectly this morning. Meaning I tested negative."

Trump had several ideas regarding the Covid 19, and some solutions were better than others. This is not the case with this statement, "When you test, you find something is wrong with people. If we didn't do any testing, we would have very few cases."

Trump suggested experts could find a way to inject light and disinfectants into humans to kill coronavirus, though he later said he was sarcastic: "Supposing you brought the light inside of the body, which you could do either through the skin or in some other way," Trump stated during the White House Covid briefing. "The whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute. That's, uh, that's pretty powerful."
