Ronny Jackson, a physician who worked in the White House under Obama, Bush, and Trump, spoke to Fox's Sean Duffy about alleged Biden's cognitive decline. Jackson, a GOP representative, warned that the President is putting the US "at great risk."
The job is challenging
Jackson told Fox's host, "I've taken care of three presidents… so I know firsthand what it takes to be the commander-in-chief and the head of state. It's a grueling job, both mentally and physically. This man can't do the job. He's proven to us every single day that he can't do the job, but this is going to get worse."
Biden's condition "degenerated" in the past three years
The Republican said, "It's just unbelievable how much he's degenerated just during his time in office." He continued, "We cannot afford to have this man in office for the remainder of this term and then [for] another four years after that. He's already putting us at great risk right now." Jackson claimed things would be better for the US if Trump were in office.
Jackson already spoke against Biden
In June, the Republican representative said it was "malpractice" to allow the President to run for re-election. Speaking to Sean Hannity on Fox, Jackson stated Biden is not "fit mentally or physically" and added, "It's a bad situation for us." Jackson continued, "Part of the job of the President of the United States is to inspire confidence and project power, and he's not doing that. He can't do that, he's too old to do that, and I think it's a shame."
Biden's gaffes
According to Jackson, Biden's gaffes are like a "package that doesn't sell around the world." He counted, "I think his lack of physical ability and his physical decline is now starting to highlight the cognitive decline that we've been watching for so long now." The representative from Texas said, "Somebody needs to be held accountable. People like Jill Biden and people that surround him and are supposed to love him and care about him, they should be doing something about this, and they should be stopping this because it's a shame."
Jackson's letter to House Republicans
In April, a letter reportedly circulated among House Republicans. Jackson wrote it, and it said, "When you first announced your bid to run in the 2020 presidential election, questions and concerns were raised surrounding your cognitive abilities. Those concerns have only increased because your mental decline and forgetfulness have become more apparent since you were elected." Jackson has been leading calls for Biden to take a cognitive test since 2022.
