Man reveals his ex-girlfriends negotiation method that landed her jobs with $30000 over their original offer

Man recently shared his ex-girlfriend's uncommon negotiating approach of landing jobs with salaries that surpass 30 grand over what was originally offered, but it's not without legal and ethical concerns.

The cost of living in the United States is already overwhelming, exacerbated by the skyrocketing inflation rates that make financial stability twice as challenging. Although this drives people to seek out better-paying jobs, many come up empty-handed.

But don’t lose hope just yet – TikToker TheRobbyShow (@thesephew) revealed a negotiation method that his ex followed to secure higher-paying jobs, which may be worth considering if you're looking for a salary boost and unafraid of taking a legal risk.

The genius plan from the ex-girlfriend.

According to the OP, whenever his ex-girlfriend needed to secure a new job, she would just create several fake LLCs with the state. These “new” companies would then list several jobs on websites like Indeed with high salaries for the job title.

Then, his ex would apply for a real job at a real company and leverage her fake company to pull off a 30k raise over the company's original offer.

“When it came time to negotiate a salary, she would use her fake company, write an offer letter to herself for 30 grand more than the other company was offering, and then ask them if they could match it,” the OP explains.

Fraud or smart?

The video quickly went viral on the platform and elicited a range of responses from viewers, with many taking to the comment section to show appreciation and respect for the "genius" and "brilliant" approach of the ex-girlfriend.

“I both respect and fear her power,” one person commented, while another one suggested, “It’s a smart way to take down the patriarchy.”

“I’d hire her as a marketing strategist,” another impressed commenter wrote.

Some viewers were so impressed that they requested the ex-boyfriend to share his ex's TikTok account, with comments like "I need to follow her."

However, not everyone was impressed by the out-of-the-box idea, with some suggesting that fraud is fraud, no matter how you look at it.

“Some call it thinking outside the box, others call it FRAUD,” one person quipped.

Others were skeptical and suggested that the man was making it up for views, especially since the TikToker often gets accused of posting “unhinged sh*,” as per one comment.

“Registering is about 300-700 bucks a pop - that's a hell of a con,” one viewer commented, while another chimed in, “As a corporate recruiter, listing jobs on Indeed costs hundreds of dollars… I find this hard to believe.”

At the end of the day, regardless of your stance on whether the ex-girlfriend's idea is brilliant, a scam, or a complete fabrication, this story might serve as an inspiration for you to think outside the box (legally, of course) when it comes to your own career advancement.
